Fishing, motor sport, public art and
wildfood lunch
– mixture of North Satakunta!
Leader Pohjois-Satakunnalta will host study tour number 1. North Satakunta's
territory is situated at the crossroads of the Hämeenkangas and Pohjankangas
ridges about 100 km north from Rauma . This area has active villages and the
most of TNC Leader projects in Finland. The area faces both the Baltic sea as
well the Finnish Lakeland.
The participants will visit prized Eumer fishing center, Pesämäki motorsport
center, a nature exhibition in Jämikeskus and have a wildfood-game lunch in a
unique Korsukylä-forest restaurant area with the rhythm of shaman drums just in
the middle of a forest.
There will also be a guided walk through the center of Kankaanpää. You might be surprised by the sheer volume of art that abounds; over 120 public art pieces are distributed throughout the small town. The collection is the biggest public art collection in Finland!
