Adventure railway, cultural ironworks area and traditional fishing villages
The study tour number 2 is hosted by Leader Karhuseutu, whose territory is located about 50 km north of Rauma. LAG Karhuseutu is the area of the coastline of the Baltic Sea with small traditional fishing and sailing ship villages. River Kokemäenjoki runs through the whole LAG area and ends to the Bothnian Sea national park. The fauna and the birdlife in this delta and the seaside national park is the richest in the Nordic Countries. Our forests are full of wildlife and wilderness lakes are full of fishes.
The study tour will introduce you to Adventure Railway, cultural
ironwork area in Noormarkku, the old traditional fishing village of Reposaari
and archipelago of Pori.
